Until yesterday I had never ever used a ringflash. These things are usually very expensive and I’ve never been a big fan of the eighties ringflash fashion look. That’s why I refused using a ringflash ever since I started photography. But when fellow shooter James Madelin asked me to try out his brand new Orbis ringflash anyway, it struck me: I have been acting silly all this time.
