i haven’t bought any actions yet, i am just going to stalk the website and blog constantly until i come up with the money purchase a set. i think i am going to try out the lightroom presets. can’t wait!!!
I love the grandmas tap shoes action……It’so hard to decide because every action gives such a unique look to every image…..

TRA is worth every penny…even more pennies than I paid for it, really. Lots of great actions in there, but the ones that I use most often are Lux and Pro Retouch. I’d pay the full price of the program for Pro Retouch.
Oh man, I LOVE My Totally Rad Actions….I use Detroit, Old Skool and Beer Goggles baby ALL the freakin time. I heart them!
I didn’t have the chance to try them yet. Just discovered the website. I am looking to purchase the new lightroom presets maybe with the TRA 1 or 2. It is hard to pick only one. They seems to works very good with one another. But if I have to pick one it would be Flare-up Golden.
I personally love the dirty pictures collection. They can really add to focusing to the center image, especially when you layer them, and use a masking tool to create a vignette. Great stuff! It definitely helps cut my time in half.
I’m really digging the Dirty Pictures actions! If I seriously have to pick a favorite out of the other collections, I would say that I’m all about the Homestead (B&W)+Edge Fade. Bad ass guys. I just found Totally RAD Actions (why the heck did I not find this SOONER!?), and I’m totally getting them. I love the old, washed out raw look, and I spend hours in Photoshop working to get the right effect. I’m looking forward to easy editing now. Thanks for helping me be lazy guys! ;-D
I have been using the first set of TRA’s for the last two years now and I just love how they have helped to speed up my processing. I religiously use Yin/Yang to dodge and burn my photos and their Lights On! and Vignette and Blur Fast help me get the job done…quickly.
i use the Get Faded actions religiously. haha. I really want the new lightroom presets too. Dirty pictures looks really rad.
Hands down the pro touch and a little can of whoopass!! Hehe I think I getmore kick from the names! They always make me giggle while editing!
Boutwell Magic Glasses by far my fav. It’s such a simple action but the results are always amazing. 2nd in line would be the Pro Retouch action but not for the smoothing of skin. The “Eye Bump” layer is magic! Thanks Doug for all your hard work. I’m excited about the LR presets now too.
LOVE all the Totally Rad Actions, but favorites are Techinicolor Dream World, Prettyizer, Awesome B&W, Milk & Cookies, and Beer Goggles. So fun to try different combinations of these actions! Dirty Textures are on my wish list!

I *heart* TRA’s Totally Rad Actions, and now I am lusting after the Lightroom presets! I really love mixing Boring Black and White and other black and white actions with Antique Tone. Magic Glasses is a total blessing! Keep ‘em coming!!!
since you’re forcing me to choose (they’re all awesome), my fav TRA photoshop action(s) is/are pool party and grandma’s tap shoes. a mixture of the two look awesome. individually they are great too. they give it a little “old school” feel that makes old film cameras and 8mm movie film cameras so charming and homey.
What I love about art are textures and colors. Raw silk, tea-stain, batik, sepia, porous concrete, moss-covered stone–all describe my joy, my passion–a living emotion that rises up inside me and takes on a life of it’s own. I haven’t seen any texture set that is comparable to Dirty Pictures. It’s exactly what stirs my creativity and makes me fall in love with PS all over again. I can get lost in the act of creation with it. I’m so excited to use it.

I use it on almost all of my images. Usually between 15% to 30% opacity. I especially love it with black and white images. It warms them up just a hair and makes the image look lovely!

I love using the Boutwell Magic Glasses and Prettyizer actions the most. The whole set is amazing and worth the investment.

I’m loving the new Totally Rad! Lightroom Presets…one i keep finding myself drawn to is the BW|Sketchy preset. It doesn’t work for everything, but when it works, it’s magic
I do not yet have TRA, plan to buy them this week as soon as my CS4 is delivered! Love looking at their website, though!

My favorite is Claire-ify… I use this on most of my photos – and I also really love Punch Out to get that extra ‘pop’ to my pictures! I am in love with TRA!
