I was pretty young when I became aware of how fleeting life can be, so photography became my way of freezing time. I studied film at UCSB, which I think has given my photography a cinematic, storytelling style. After working in the film industry for seven years, I decided I needed to do more valuable work, so I started shooting weddings.
